WHAT TO EXPECT

New Hope Community Church – What to Expect

If it’s your first time at New Hope, you are our honored guest.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

We are located at 5422 Vann Road in Newburgh, IN. You can find us on Google Maps HERE

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?

We reserve parking spots for our first time guests right in front of the worship entrance, so if you’re new to New Hope, look for the visitor parking spots. If the front paved parking lot is full, there are additional parking spots in the gravel parking lot behind the church.

When you enter the front doors the Hope Kids children’s check-in area will be to your left. To the right is the main sanctuary where our worship service takes place. There will be greeters at the door to assist you if you have questions.

If you enter from the rear of the building (from gravel lot) you will be entering the Hope Kids area. Greeters will be there to assist you to the Hope Kids check-in if you have children, and to the main sanctuary for the worship service.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR KIDS?

During the 10 a.m. service, children 5th grade and younger experience Jesus on their level in their own separate service. Hope Kids is a safe, age-appropriate environment where kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, and small group time.

Speaking of security, all children’s areas are equipped with a computer system. You will be greeted by a friendly face and each child will be computer checked-in. You will be given a sticker that will enable you, & only you, to pick them up after the morning worship service. If you like, you can print a Hope Kids Registration Form before your visit and bring it to the Hope Kids check in area for an expedited registration experience.

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

Services last about one hour. We worship with communion (observed first Sunday each month), with songs, the giving of offerings, and  followed by a Biblical message.  If you want to see our preaching style, check out our most recent messages HERE.

If you’re visiting for the first time, you’ll want to give yourself a few extra minutes to stop by the Connection Corner located by the entry doors to the sanctuary. You are a very important person to us! We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Don’t feel like you have to dress up! Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

CAN I ATTEND IF I’M _____________?

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at New Hope. So come as you are and we’ll see you on Sunday!

At New Hope you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building you can hopefully see that we are seeking to be…

BIBLE-BASED / We follow God’s written Word.

AUTHENTIC / We are genuine in our faith.

DISCIPLE-BUILDING / We encourage everyone to follow Christ.

OUT-REACH FOCUSED / We have a heart to serve others.
